General Terms and Conditions
The UMAKOV Online Store, operating at www.umakov.pl, is run by UMAKOV Polska Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Ruda Śląska, Aleja Rodziny Gürtlerów 81, entered by the District Court in Gliwice, 10th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000406652. VAT ID (NIP): PL6482779917. REGON number: 365906031.
1. The Online Store sells products via the Internet.
2. Orders are accepted online. To place an order, the order form must be completed. After submitting an order, the Buyer receives an email confirming receipt of the order by the store.
3. The order is processed once the store receives from the Buyer an email confirming the order submission.
4. The order fulfillment time is as follows:
* For cash on delivery payments: the second business day after receipt of order confirmation.
* For bank transfer payments (prepayment): the second business day after the funds have been credited to the store’s account.
5. Once the order is assembled, the goods are dispatched to the Buyer. Estimated delivery time: 1 business day.
6. The expected date of receipt of the shipment = fulfillment time + estimated delivery time.
7. If some items in the order are unavailable, the Buyer is informed immediately. The Buyer then decides whether the order should be partially fulfilled or canceled in its entirety.
8. Promotional sales and clearance sales apply to a limited quantity of goods. Orders are fulfilled in the order in which confirmed orders are received, until stocks of items offered in such sales are exhausted.
9. All prices are quoted in Polish zloty (PLN). The price listed for each item is binding at the moment the customer places the order. The store reserves the right to change product prices, introduce new products to the online store’s offer, run and cancel promotional campaigns on the store’s pages, or modify them.
10. Payment for ordered goods may be made by the Buyer using one of the following methods:
* Cash on delivery via courier: the courier collects payment.
* Through the COMGATE payment gateway.
* Bank transfer to the company’s account.
11. Ordered goods are shipped within Poland via the FEDEX courier service.
12. At the moment the Buyer confirms the order submitted by them, a contract is concluded between the SELLER and the BUYER. The subject of the contract is the goods specified in the order. The rights and obligations of the parties arising from the concluded contract are governed by the Polish Civil Code of 23 April 1964 (Journal of Laws of 1964 No. 16, item 93, as amended) and by the Act of 2 March 2000 on the protection of certain consumer rights and liability for damage caused by a dangerous product (Journal of Laws of 2000 No. 22, item 271, as amended).
13. The sales contract is concluded in accordance with Polish law and in the Polish language.
14. The competent court for resolving disputes arising from the sales contract is either the court having jurisdiction over the defendant’s registered office or the court having jurisdiction over the place of performance of the contract.
15. We inform you that the personal data provided on the order form in the “Store Name” online store are collected and processed in accordance with the Act of 29 August 1997 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws of 2002 No. 101, item 926, as amended). Collected personal data are used solely for the purpose of fulfilling placed orders and informing about promotions, and under no circumstances will they be made available to third parties. Every customer of our store has the right to access, modify, and delete their personal data from our database.

16. Return of Goods.
In accordance with the Act of 2 March 2000 on the protection of certain consumer rights and liability for damage caused by a dangerous product, the customer may withdraw from a purchase made in our store without giving a reason within 10 days from the date of receipt of the shipment. This is possible only if the goods show no signs of use, are complete, and have not been damaged in any way. Returned goods must be sent back along with the invoice received with them. The store guarantees a refund equal to the price of the goods. The money will be refunded within 14 business days by bank transfer to the account indicated by the customer or by postal transfer to the address specified in the order. The cost of returning the goods is non-refundable.
17. Complaints.
If, upon receipt of the goods, the customer finds physical defects, they should immediately inform the seller of the defects. Or if the goods delivered are inconsistent with the order. The store does not accept any shipments sent cash on delivery. Costs related to returning defective goods are reimbursed by the store immediately after receipt of the shipment and consideration of the complaint. The returned goods should be accompanied by the invoice and a description of the reason for the complaint. All complaints are handled within 14 business days from the date of their receipt. Damaged goods will be replaced with new, fully functional ones, and if that is no longer possible (for example, due to stock exhaustion), the store will refund the buyer the equivalent of the goods’ price or offer them other goods available in the store to choose from.
The Buyer has familiarized themselves with the document concerning the maintenance and care of stainless steel products.
